Trapholt has an art collection of approximately 7,000 works covering art from 1900 onwards. In Your Exhibition, you can experience art by, among others, Richard Mortensen and Anna Ancher.<\/p>\n
Trapholt has one of Denmark’s most significant collections of chair design. The collection of approximately 600 chairs includes a large selection of furniture from the 20th century. In the exhibition, there are chairs by prominent names such as Nanna Ditzel, Verner Panton, B\u00f8rge Mogensen, Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner, and Arne Jacobsen.<\/p>\n
Trapholt’s collection of ceramics and textiles was originally defined in relation to the jar and the carpet, respectively. The ceramics collection shows a wide range of major ceramicists such as Axel Salto, Thorvald Bindesb\u00f8ll, and Bodil Manz.<\/p>\n
In collaboration with craftsmen and designers, Trapholt establishes community involvement projects aimed at adding works to the collection.
